Meet the Staff
Pastor Randy Whitehead
Randy grew up in Western North Dakota. After high school, he enlisted in the Marine Corp. It was during his service to our nation that he received his call to become a pastor.
Once he had completed his service, he attended Concordia College in Moorhead to complete his bachelors. He then went to Luther Seminary in the Twin Cities.
His first call was in Western North Dakota. Since then, he ministered in Hawley and in Lake Park. He was called to New Life and Little Bethany Lutheran Churches in May of 2016.

Lori Ryan
Lori began working as the office manager in July of 2025 and is from Dalton.
Besides working part time at New Life Church, she is also the Housing Manger and Administrative Assistant at LB Homes (formally Broen Home) in Fergus Falls.
She lives in rural Dalton in a house that her dad, Wyllis, remodeled.

Jessica Nelson
Jessica began working as the Youth Director at New Life Lutheran Church in August of 2012.
Before coming to New Life, she lived and worked in Atlanta, Georgia with a program called Mission Year. Mission Year is a year long program where Christian young people live in an urban neighborhood volunteering, worshiping, and loving their neighbors.
In 2016, she graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Minnesota State University Moorhead in Elememtary Education.
